ALOESAP™ Series - A NEW GREEN & ECO FRIENDLY ALOE BASED BIOCIDE

ALOESAP™ Series are green biocides. ALOESAP™ Series were developed with the objective to offer a sustainable, green and environmentally friendly biocides for different industries, such as mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, power stations, electric generation plants, water and wastewater treatment and other industrial sectors. 

At some industries, such the operations in the oilfield industry, tend to present anaerobic environments, which favours the proliferation of sulphate-reducing bacteria (SRB), and the consequent production of H2S, which leads to several known problems.

We offer two biocide formulations, ALOESAP™ 17-BIO and ALOESAP™ 2-BIO. 

The active ingredient is a blend of 9,10 anthraquinone compounds obtained from aloe, a well know potent antimicrobial agent with a broad spectrum of activity against Gram negative, Gram positive bacteria, SRB, yeasts and fungi.

ALOESAP™ 17-BIO is a proprietary formulation, a natural biocide made from aloe barbadensis miller glicosides and aloe chinensis polysaccharides and other natural compounds, where aloe concentrates have been used, for strong results. 

ALOESAP™ 2-BIO is a proprietary formulation, a natural biocide made from aloe barbadensis miller glicosides and aloe chinensis polysaccharides and other natural compounds, with no concentrates.

Both ALOESAP™ biocides contain a blend of 9,10 anthraquinone compounds obtained from aloe, and are used to complement traditional biocides to eliminate bacteria. Aloe derived anthraquinones are very well known for their antibacterial and antifungal properties, the basics of a biocide

ALOESAP™ is a totally non-toxic, non-hazardous, biodegradable and environment-friendly biocide for the mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, power stations, electric generation plants, water and wastewater treatment and other industrial sectors, because main components are based on aloe compounds, a natural plant cultivated in only a few countries. This is a real "green" and sustainable biocide for those industries. A real sustainable and environmentally friendly biocide.

Both ALOESAP™ 17-BIO and ALOESAP™ 2-BIO are compatible with materials used in oil and gas industry, water treatment and other industrial sectors. Our biocides are compatible with include corrosion inhibitors (green formulations and organic chemicals such as nitrates, phosphonates and polyphosphates), scale inhibitors (green formulations and organic chemicals such as polyacrylates and polycarboxylates) , viscosity modifiers, flow improvers, drag reducing agents or gelling agents (cellulose thickeners, guar and xantham gum).

ALOESAP™ formulations are also compatible with many other biocides used in these industries, including Quaternary Ammonium Compounds, Isothiazolinones, Methylene, Glutaraldehyde, Bronopol and similar compounds.

Aloetrade America LLC has many years of experience managing aloe plantations in Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Mexico to produce anthraquinones from aloe plants. High quality aloe bitter sap with high 9,10 anthraquinone content (present in the aloin A, aloin B, aloe emodin, aloesin and aloe resins) is produced with a very different process than conventional aloe to obtain aloe gel. The farming, caring and harvesting procedure to obtain aloe sap is quite different to aloe production techniques aimed to obtain raw aloe gel.

Aloetrade America LLC gives full technical assistance to aloe producers in Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Mexico. In Mexico main assistance is given to Aloe Eco Park company to grow and harvest aloe under strict guidelines and following Good Agricultural Practices. The aloe obtained from all these plantations is then used to manufacture and obtain ALOESAP™ biocide.

This aloe product is manufactured by Aloe Eco Park and distributed by Aloetrade America LLC.

Application

ALOESAP™ 17-BIO and ALOESAP™ 2-BIO are a supplement to conventional biocides used in different industrial sectors.

Dosage
 

ALOESAP™ 17-BIO  or ALOESAP™ 2-BIO are used preferably with other typical biocides such as glutaraldehyde, bronopol or similar biocides.

ALOESAP™ 17-BIO should be added in a proportion of the 50% to 60% of total biocide volume used.

ALOESAP™ 2-BIO should be added in a proportion of the 25% to 30% of total biocide volume used.

Suggested total volume used is as follows in the oil and gas industry:

Drilling Muds, Fracturing Fluids, Workover & Completion Fluids 25 - 500 PPM

Well Squeeze Fluids 25 - 500 PPM

Flood Water - Injection Water - Produced Water 50 - 250 PPM

Pipeline and Tank Maintenance 25 - 200 PPM

Gas Injection Wells 100 - 2500 PPM

 

ALOESAP™ 17-BIO and ALOESAP™ 2-BIO biocides can be used in conjunction with other environmentally friendly and green aloe based products, such as INHISCALE™ 1-BIO, ALOEFLOC™ 1-BIO, ALOECOAG™ 1-BIO, INCORALOE™ 1-BIO, and ALOEGEL™ 1-BIO.

 

Presentation

ALOESAP™ 17-BIO and ALOESAP™ 2-BIO biocide are packaged in 55 gal/200 kg plastic drums.
