A GREEN AND ECO FRIENDLY ALOE BASED-SURFACTANT FOR HYDRAULIC FRACTURING OPERATIONS IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY
The surfactant reduces the surface tension of treatment fluid in the formation. Also, the surfactant helps improve the fluid recovery from the well upon completion.
Depending on the formula used, surfactants may react with the formation, be returned with produced water, or enter the gas stream and return with produced natural gas.
SURFACTALOE FRAC™ is a green and eco friendly aloe and plant based product for use as surfactant at fracking jobs. The product reduces the surface tension of treatment fluid in the formation.
SURFACTALOE FRAC™ is an environmentally friendly aloe and plant based product for use as surfactant in fracking fluids used at unconventional oil and gas operations, basically at fields of shale gas, shale oil and oil sands reservoirs.
It was developed with the objective to offer a sustainable, green and environmentally friendly product for the fracking operations in the oil and gas industry.
SURFACTALOE FRAC™ is a proprietary formulation, a natural surfactant made from aloe polysaccharides and other plant based compounds. Aloe vera is a natural surfactant.
Surfactants are molecules that have both water-loving and water-hating properties. Surfactants can help to reduce the surface tension of water, which can help to improve the flow of fracking fluids through the rock.
As a surfactant, it is an alternative option or may be combined with the Laurel Sulfate (CAS number 000151-21-3) for better results, since both products are used to increase the viscosity of the fracture fluid.
As a surfactant, this product does not replaces the use of Ethanol (CAS number 000064-17-5) since it is used as a product stabilizer and/or winterizing agent.
As a surfactant, this product does not replaces the use of Naphthalene (CAS number 000091-20-3) since it is used as a carrier fluid for the active surfactant ingredients.
As a surfactant, this product does not replaces the use of Methanol (CAS number 000064-17-5) since it is used as a product stabilizer and/or winterizing agent.
As a surfactant, this product does not replaces the use of Ethanol (CAS number 000067-56-1) since it is used as a product stabilizer and/or winterizing agent.
As a surfactant, this product does not replaces the use of Isopropyl Alcohol (CAS number 000067-63-0) since it is used as a product stabilizer and/or winterizing agent.
As a surfactant, this product does not replaces the use of 2-Butoxyethanol (CAS number 000111-76-2) since it is used as a product stabilizer.
