ALOECUREFRAC™  - NEW GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE FORMULATION FOR PREVENTION AND CURE OF FRACTURE RELATED DRILLING FLUID LOSSES 

ALOECUREFRAC™ is a new and unique green product for use in formulations to prevent and cure of fracture related drilling fluid loss. It was developed to offer an environmentally friendly product and a new “green” option for the prevention of drilling fluid loss in the oil and gas industry.

ALOECUREFRAC™  is a natural product made from natural plants, mainly aloe barbadensis miller and aloe chinensis compounds.

ALOECUREFRAC™ is a green, sustainable and biodegradable product formulated with aloe based polysaccharides and aloe based celulose. It has been developed with the aim to offer a sustainable and green product for drilling operations in the oil and gas industry 

Aloe based polysaccharides in liquid form, gives viscoelastic properties, acting as a plasticizer and mixer for all compounds, in conjunction with water. Aloe wet pellets are used as cellulose and contributes to block the openings in the wellbore. The use of both components avoid the lost circulation of drilling fluid, and later may be disintegrated when acid is applied. It may be used as a bridging material, or as lost circulation material, since it contributes to block the openings in the wellbore. Aloe is a renewable resource, since it is obtained from a plant, with minimum carbon footprint.

ALOECUREFRAC™ can be used as a temporary or permanent solution

Temporary Solution

This formulation uses a combination of calcium carbonate mixed with ALOECUREFRAC™.

Permanent Solution

This formulation is the solution when it is required to seal permeable zones by plugging pores at wellbore face, where such sealing must be permanent and not disolved. This formulation is a combination of unexpanded perlite and/or portland cement and/or pumicite, mixed with ALOECUREFRAC™. A good synergy is obtained when hydraulic cement is used with pumicite and unexpanded perlite.

This aloe based formulation for oil and gas industry is manufactured in Mexico and distributed by Aloetrade America LLC.

Application

ALOECUREFRAC™ can be applied via drilling mud during drilling operation.

In hydraulic fracturing operations, ALOECUREFRAC™ can be used in conjunction with other environmentally friendly aloe based products, such as ALOEGEL™ 1-BIO, ALOEFLOC™ 1-BIO, ALOECOAG™, INCORALOE™ 1-BIO, 1-BIO, INHISCALE™ 1-BIO and ALOESAP™ 17-BIO.

Dosage

ALOECUREFRAC™ can be applied via drilling mud during drilling operation, as required depending the well. Please consult our Technical Dept. 

 

Presentation

ALOECUREFRAC™ is packaged in 55 gal/200 kg plastic drums.
